Our customer ordered this cake for a wedding shower. The couple follow a paleo diet. She decided on chocolate cake. The top tier had chocolate swiss meringue and the bottom had chocolate ganache with vanilla. She requested something western with black and white, and a bit of red. I could tell she was probably looking for something classy, rather than rustic. So, our team came up with this jewel of a cake. Our fondant artist made fondant horse shoes that were grey. He then painted them black and hit them with a silver glaze for patina. I had them arranged in a sculptural fashion. We were pleased with the effect.
The only problem was that the customer liked the cake so much she said, “This could have been their wedding cake.”
I advised her we would be happy to top this cake for the wedding.

Howdy! Sorry I am a little behind here. 2015 went by like a flash and now we are already a month into the new year. We took January off and we did not take any orders.
However, we are taking a limited amount of orders again.
This year we are shifting focus. Our focus is not on growth, but sharing our love for nutritious gluten-free food.
